Water companies, regulators, academics and NGOs are all working together to create a long-term planning framework for water resources planning.

Water UK worked with companies, regulators, academics and NGOs to create the Long Term Water Resources Planning Framework – a report that breaks new ground by deploying new modelling techniques and by looking 50 years ahead across the whole of England and Wales.

The industry, and the 2016 report, supports a strategic approach to securing water supplies by balancing enhanced supply infrastructure and demand management.
