Temporary use bans, generally known as hosepipe bans, are being introduced today to preserve water supplies in parts of the south and east of England.
Anglian Water, South East Water, Southern Water, Sutton and East Surrey Water, Thames Water, Veolia South East and Veolia Central have introduced restrictions as part of their long-term water resource plans to ensure that we all continue to have the water we need during the current drought.
Customers are responding very positively to the need to conserve water and we are encouraging everyone to use water as wisely as they can.
