PREVIOUS EVENTSWater UK City Conference 2010 took place on Thursday 25 February 2010 at the Cavendish Conference Centre, London. The conference focused on issues beyond PR09 as the water industry faces up to delivering investment plans in the face of challenges such as climate change, population growth, more demanding consumers, and increasing environmental regulation. The day was a great success with over 130 delegates attending.
Water UK Catchment Management Forum took place on Wednesday 9 December 2009. More than 50 Water UK members, regulators and stakeholders attended this event to share experience and identify monitoring requirements for the 100-plus catchment management schemes and investigations included in PR09 price limits.
Water UK 10th Annual Leakage Conference took place on Thursday, 15 October 2009 at the Hilton Coventry Hotel. The seminar bought together over 150 water company decision makers, regulators, manufacturers, consultants and contracts to discuss impacts of the forthcoming price review and key developments in leakage management.
Water UK Financing Utilities Seminar took place on Friday, 25 September at the London Stock Exchange. The seminar explored the cost of capital and financing for regulated industries and was attended by over 70 guests representing key decision makers from companies and regulators across the utility sector and the City.
The Water UK Metering Symposium provided an interactive forum for industry representatives and a broad range of stakeholders to discuss the key issues to be taken into account for developing a fair charging system and delivering an integrated metering strategy.
Water Framework Directive Conference Water UK brought together the industry, its regulators, government and a broad range of stakeholders on 4 June to discuss the latest issues surrounding the WFD, its implementation, funding and role in wider water policy.
9th Annual City Conference This year’s City Conference took place in February with a record number of attendees. More than 170 representatives from the water industry, its stakeholders and investors came together to listen to key speakers and to debate and discuss the future finance of the industry.
